HOW IT'S MADE

STEP ONE

Each board is hand selected, carved, and sanded by Tony; the master woodworker who helped bring the official Kaylarae grazing board shapes to life!

STEP TWO

Resin and hardener are measured precisely and mixed prompting a chemical reaction. This is a crucial step to allow for the resin to cure properly. Once this resin is mixed, Kayla only has a short window of time to work her craft before it permanently hardens.

STEP THREE

Resin is then poured onto surface. Several layers are built over the course of several days to reveal multidimensional effects.

STEP FOUR

This is where the magic happens. A blow torch is used to create dazzling effects and variations in the colors by carefully heating the resin without the high risk of burning the surface

STEP FIVE

The boards are then carefully sanded to remove resin debris, revealing a "bone-smooth" surface.

STEP SIX

Each board is hand branded with a laser cut brander, sealed with our signature Kaylarae Board Wax, and authenticated as an original KaylaRae Resin grazing board.
