ANCHOR POINT | 18 X 24

$780.00
Named after a term used in battling wildfires- often demonstrating an advantageous location, usually a barrier to fire spread, from which to start constructing a fireline. The anchor point is used to minimize the chance of being flanked (or outflanked) by the fire while the line is being constructed.

From The Succession Collection, by artist Kayla Rae Gierut - Inspired by the restorative powers of life after a fire that starts from deep within the forest floor.

Original painting - Mixed media on cotton canvas, mounted in a handcrafted Poplar floating frame (adds about 1" on either side to the total dimensions)

Signed, sealed, and ready to hang.
